As the stars of the galaxy were set ablaze by the intergalactic war of several factions vying for power, there soon came a need for a unit that can respond to rapidly changing needs and requests while also tasked with anything from raiding supply hubs to performing planetary assaults.

And thus, the 77th Marines were born. Trained from the ground up as a light infantry unit, it has become a vital part in helping to maintain some semblance of normalcy in the frontier as doing their part in the conflict as a vanguard and raider.

Whenever they are called, they will answer. Always.
