You know, in that scene where Ken puts a bandage on her forearm, she looks like she has normal colored skin underneath. I think she wears makeup to hide her human features.

If she really is human (which the black blood makes me a little doubt) then this is possible.

well there is the whole thing about some sort of...apocolyptic event having happened and a "human egg" which i, SPOILERS AHEAD BEWARE, assume is the egg looking thing in the "laboratory" in the "heaven" area, maybe they were lab growing a human and pumping in the black blood the angel crows seem to have to make them, idk, more durable and unable to die or something?
If the goal was to end the reign of whatever is happening on the remains of what I assume is Earth that is keeping people alive, having them just be abled to be killed right off would kinda...fuck that plan up royally.

I'll just wait for the continuation =3 I hope the lore will be revealed more fully
