Once again, Hunter found himself on the mountaintop, relaxing. But today, he planned on staying the night. He brought his tent, some sleeping gear, and, most importantly, his tripod. He set up as usual, cleared his campground of debris, hammered in his stakes, and then set up his tent.
Once all was ready, the sun was nearly setting. He looked to the sky, enamored by the mixture of color—the soft pinks and oranges behind him, as the blues and purples of the night sky were starting to take hold elsewhere.
He thought momentarily before setting up his tripod and striking a pose—trying to align with one of the brighter stars in the sky—mimicking a famous painting he saw in memory. He extended his digit just as he heard the click of his camera, smiling to himself. The backlight from the setting sun would look fantastic, but he only had a few minutes to get all his photos like this, so he set to work.
