something kinda simple for kirbys 33rd anniversary. i intended to draw something last year, but like usual, i just missed the date. its surprisingly common for me to intend to do something one day, and the only time i remember it is the day after, its so frustrating, but i did remember this year finally! kirby is a character who i feel like i needed to make some fanart for because hes such a big part of my childhood. if i had never discovered the furry community or the object show community, i could see myself joining the kirby community
anyway, i decided to go for a more retro depiction of kirby here, like the original kirby super star/kirbys fun pak era. i like his current depiction too, but idk theres something i especially like about his late 90s/early 2000s look for some reason. i think his smaller face at the time made him look more squishy and silly
