As an Applin, he jumped into a glass full of Milcery and just marinated in it. So when he evolved without consuming an apple, well, safe to assume he'd basically just absorbed the Milcery instead, evolving into a ridiculous Alcremie-based Appletun. He's primarily a double battle supporter, having very little means of dealing damage himself because he just doesn't really enjoy fighting so much as pumping up an ally. <3
