so as much as i like the stump as just an awesome piece i decided it needed a little something more. so i took a bunch of lake polishes stones and built up a short wall and backfilled it with soil and the violets that colonize my yard. I love them so anyway. so i might as well take advantage of the fact every single time i dig up a clump it comes back stronger. Soon i will have violets all over the place from a few clumps.
