Circa 2003 - Vth World: Elven Archer - Inks
Humans are rare if not just about extinct in the 5th world - and those that were around before and during tell tales of such horrible cruelty towards the natural world that they are barely whispered about, and some scarcely believe they ever existed at all. Elves in particular, with their longevity and having survived in the Fae lands during these cataclysmic times, speak of humans in somber and sad tones.
One would think that elven kind may flourish without humans around, but to the contrary - elves are viewed with high levels of mistrust even though they are often shining beacons of good. Because they have smooth skin, no snouts, and no tails.. they are often shunned and reviled as ugly creatures. A far cry from how elves used to be revered as bastions of beauty when humankind was the dominant species.
