I remember seeing the art of hhhyyyiii and tail-blazer and also some other TF art of Overwatch characters a long time ago that stuck in my mind to make some species transformation art at some point
while talking to an artist friend of mine, I was playing Overwatch and in a mocking tone I said “let's make Overwatch characters being transformed into animals” and while thinking about it, I came up with the idea of Zarya being a polar bear
