Love this one too btw! I think what works about this one is the layout of it, where you see the TF kinda circle around. I figure it's probably due to space-saving reasons but I quite like this approach. Plus, I just really like your style as applied to these guys! Definitely works because this creature is very T-rex like, so you probably had some reference to go off of. You really capture the stockiness and raw muscle that a monster like this would have, particularly in those intermediary stages with how the tail poses itself. Also wanted to say how I love how people capture how comparatively tiny the arms are with these TFs as the body just grows and grows, the posing with them is also something I really enjoy. Best part is definitely all the spikes, though - hands down. You mention them being super difficult to draw, and just looking at them I'm inclined to agree with how plentiful they are in the design coupled with the fact that you had to show them continuing to grow. The effort very much paid off, though - it really sells the menace of such a character (also I want to point out how much I enjoy how the wide jaw is drawn). Great job here all around!

Hahaha, you hit the nail on the head for the space savings. I do love showing the scale, but it often means I have to figure out how to assemble everything together XD

I was inspired by heavy crocodile tails to do this guy's. And the spikes aren't HARD... but there's just SO MANY haha.
