A beautiful painted portrait of my woodland dragon Abalus by the amazing ArtOfReina (ViperCrown)!
It's so great to be seeing new art submissions on FA again; I think I was going through withdrawal over the past week when the site was in read-only mode! We'll probably be seeing an influx of new art submissions over the coming days, as there's probably quite a backlog. Bring it on; I miss all the art!! :)
While FA was experiencing it's problems, I received this wonderful portrait from ViperCrown by e-mail. She had already done a full body piece of Abalus (located here) recently, but I snuck a portrait commission in after I saw the fabulous job she did on the full body piece. Abalus is still relatively new, so I was looking for a portrait showing a bit of a fierce expression... wanted something showing some teeth, which I didn't have yet. He's not always Mr. Nice Guy, as I said to Reina. Here's her portrayal of Abalus with the GRRR factor. Love the detail on his fur... fantastic!
