here we mf'ing GOOOOOO folks, we're back after the FA outage!!!
I've been kind of art blocked lately, but in the past couple weeks I finally broke through by asking myself a design question: why have I never seen a horny bimbo terrorbird type of character? So, I introduce to you BIRDBRAIN~!
Megapavo ridiculus, better known as Birdbrain, is a silly creature that's a hedonist at heart.
First sighted in the wild, this prehistoric-looking 'bird' has abandoned the struggle of wild life and instead seeks shelter near human settlements - sometimes, even within them. The Birdbrain is an omnivorous opportunist, though it definitely has favorites; it adores savory meat, sweet and sour fruits, desserts of all kinds, and alcohol (a round of Jungle Bird cocktails, anyone?). This feeds into Birdbrain's enjoyment of human company, since humans have hands that are well suited to tricky tasks like opening jars and preparing tasty food. But on top of that, Birdbrain generally enjoys the company of humans, often taking part in activities like making art, singing, and enjoying quality time with others.
Birdbrain may not be the most industrious beast, but it certainly is an entertaining one, and that's one reason why the people it visits let it hang out. Though it could also be that, despite its nickname, Birdbrain is quite intelligent and has a strong understanding of the concept "tit for tat" and it will gladly pay you back for any food and other favors it might receive...
...aka, this bird WILL suck your dick for a cheeseburger and fries. you may get even more if you throw in a milkshake! ; D
