This artwork is a commission for  Yosh-E-O

Hi everycreature again. We're back with a completely new artwork and this time this one is a commission for my great friend Yosh. He wanted an artwork of the three protagonists of Do, Re & Mi a musical children show from the last years because there's basically no diapers art of these three out there.

I have to admit, I'm not the best one drawing birds and even less with diapers, but it was an interesting challenge. I was even a harder challenge if you consider that I didn't know anything about the show and I had to find for references and inspiration from scratch. I still thought I was able to capture the essence of the show and applying my own style and some nice detail to make the artwork nicer. The style wasn't too different from T.O.T.S. so I had a little bit of experience. I think at the end I was able to do a pretty good artwork with a lot of details and nice characters.

Detailed visual description Yosh:

The artwork is trying to represent one of the promotional arts of the show Do, Re & Mi from Amazon prime featuring the three main characters looking straight to the camera well detailed and with some decoration around. The scene occurs indoors with an orange floor and a red wall with just a few stuff around. At the right side there is a ball of red and cream colors which is barely visible and a kind of rock with green moss in the top. At the left side there is a transparent recipient with a blue fluorescent liquid inside.

Standing in the ground there is Do the owl. His feathers are mainly green aquamarine while some parts of his body like chest and face are green cream colored, he has a pretty square head, a yellow open beak and big magenta eyes. Do has his both wings on the chest like pointing to it, wearing his typical red glasses and cap, and also wearing a fluffy diaper of purple and magenta tones with a music note in the landing zone. More music notes as well as the outline of a piano keyboard are part of the diaper prints. His tail is not visible.

At the left side flying just half a body of distance from the ground there is Re the hummingbird. She has a body mainly magenta-pink colored while some parts are of a lighter tone like her belly and face. She has the wings extended and her legs instead of the typical orange bird color features lines of different tones like a rainbow with the colors red, yellow, green, cyan, and blue from top to down. She is opening the beak which is of a pallid orange color, she has a music note in the left side of the face, big aquamarine eyes and blue bow over her head. Her tail is just barely visible and is a little bit fluffy. She wears a green diaper once again with a music note in the landing zone and while the diaper prints include music notes too, there is a silhouette of a microphone included.

Finally, flying just a little bit higher than Re, is Mi the blue jay. She also has the wings extended and is looking away with the beak closed. Her body shows intense blue tones and white on the face and belly. Her beak is just a little bit darker than Do’s one with also a yellow color. She has a music note in the belly and darker legs than the other two. Her tail is also barely visible and looks pointy She wears a diaper of aquamarine tones featuring music tones and a guitar as prints.

Finally, on first plane and decorating each corner of the picture we have curved musical pentagrams of five different colors for each line (green, yellow, orange, blue, and purple from up to down) on a kind of rainbow style featuring some red notes over it. Pretty similar to the design that appears in some promotional images of the show.
