Alright...so this is another GS from Monster Hunter 1 that appears in later entries too. I wanted to commission this because I randomly decided to boot up my file one night. Don't ask me why; let's just say masochism. Anyhow I wanted to see if there were any more strong weapons I could make....sooo I decided to grind for two hours or so and gather enough materials and money to make this. To explain it simply: you can eventually acquire these items known as ruststones. They are actually not items, but rusted weapons to unpolished to be used. You can only use them after polishing, and there are multiple upgrades. The weapon will visually change as well, to convey the process of upgrading and de-rusting it. A ruststone exists for basically for each weapon type, more or less. For example, there's a ruststone for Sword and Shield, or Lance. The names later would hint at what they are (i.e. rustrod would be a lance. rustchunk would be a hammer, so on)
Anyhow these are unique weapons and can sometimes be the best or close to the best depending on game and matchups.
