I suspect that had Furry even been remotely a thing back then, we would have had a couple 'life over' scenes like this.
After all, if you go watch the death scenes of Dragon's Lair II and especially Space Ace, you'll catch on that the Vore was strong with the Bluth. It's downright telling when in SA, if the foe had a mouth, it was eating the main character ( https://youtu.be/4Mky7-t_nsQ?si=iiaabpU330KtXgaY And I think that's only a sampling of death scenes. Well... naked baby character death scene, I was not expecting.)
