Commission - On the Frontier
Illustration for Radius from his story: these two (the big guy is Faelon, the other Aytin) have endured a lot, but here are just emerging together at last from the darkest leg of their journey... Based directly on a sketch given to me by the client, I immediately loved the tender vibe and can only hope I've done the original vision justice!

He... may have ended up more ripped than I intended, but I like painting musculature and I think it got away from me @_@ Buuuuut, to be fair, he apparently works in heavy transportation, carrying big loads of cargo on his body and flying it around the world, and he was described to me as a pretty big boy, so... I think it works ^^;
Goddamn JoJo, this one came out so extremely awesome and beautiful! The way you drew those scales is really nuts! So detailed and almost as if you can feel the slick yet firm reptilian texture of them! On top of that, it has been awhile since you've drawn some BEEF XD. He looks swole as hell lol. And totally not biased of him being another red dragon either lol XD. But seriously, very beautiful work here. Love how the god rays light up the seemingly dark scene ^^
Nothing to be ashamed about! This has definitely got to be one of my most favorite images you've done ^^. Am I biased? Maybe XP. But coupled with the wholesome and loving atmosphere and theme this piece has, I absolutely adore it ^^. I hope the commissioner enjoyed it just as much ^^
