I'm mostly uploading this because hey FA works again
And I don't think I have any examples, besides maybe pixel art, of anything with like what I would consider to be good lineart by my standards.
Now there's a good reason: inking sucks shit.
But this was legitimately fun, I made some changes to my pen pressure settings both in CLIP and just through Wacom Center back to the default (I tend to overtweak to my own detriment) and it was great!
So great in fact I even ordered some dip pens to attempt it irl. Something I haven't done since literally 2018 and with any sort of regularity since I was literally in high school. They haven't arrived yet and I do not own a scanner at present.
WOOOOOOOO
Here's a character of mine featured in my previous oekaki upload. Maybe more on him in the future. He's very fun to draw.
Okay in hindsight I think that mass of darkness on his sleeve could've been cleaned up. I was trying to imply a notch + just thickening it up because its an exterior line, the shadow of the fabric on the other side, and just thickening it even more because lines are converging there. But I like having a sense of finality to my drawings so I think it can stay this way. Broadly I'm still basically in love with how this came out.
