Alluring Nymph (IBSFA)
I had a stream scheduled when FA was completely down and I didn't have access to the ref for the image I wanted to do so I did a three word monster instead. The three words are wood/otter/nymph. I usually avoid doing humanoid faces as my ability to draw them crosses into the realm of horror....which is really good when I want to do horrific faces. Anyway, this is the Aluring Nymph:
Like other predatory nymphs this creature relies on suberfuge to catch their prey. Unlike their fairer and more desirable sisters, the Alluring Nymph has quite a thin, sickly looking humanoid form that seems unappropiate for their namesake. Said name is actually attributed to their use of intricately carved lures (typically of otters or ducks) to lure in uncautious hunters to the water edge where they can be easily ambushed and drowned by the nymph. The Alluring Nymph typically resides in overshadowed ponds and rivers. Their wooden lures are sought out by certain collectors however they are an aggressive species and will never part with their carvings without a fight.
