Since I've been talking about it a whole heck of a lot, and finally coud scan it, here is the design I'm tentatively considering and working on.

Consider this deviation an active WIP, though.


So, Blade from the front, smirking, crossing his arms over his chest with a thorny rosebud in one hand and a knife of his in the other (I hate the knife, so far, though - will be fixing it up). His hair is loose, flowing about him/framing his person; and he's wearing Marijke's top hat, but tilted to the side because it's not his top hat (and Blade does not generally wear top hats, because he doesn't think it suits him/thinks it just looks too typical on him, somehow - and Marijke, the actual top hat wearer, would never wear it that way).

I will be fixing about a gazillion things that bug me, like his hands, now that I finally have it scanned and CAN work on it without destroying it (erm, soon as I solve this graphics tablet/new OS/+ GIMP problem that makes using the graphics tablet for artistic endeavours a total B.), but this is the basic idea of the tat. And I like that it's a rosebud, instead of a fully bloomed rose. But, I do want his hair to be a little more epic.

Overall composition + details, must be refined before I choose to have it permanently inked into my skin. Expect it to be about 6-8 inches long, this tat - entire forearm.

No, no one else is allowed to have it (I'm not giving you permission to put Blade on your body/use this design - he's MY sexy beast, and mine alone - so... IF you use it, you're going against artist's wishes... maybe if you ask me really nicely, though...But, honestly, why would YOU want Blade/this design? Oh, 'cause he's a sexy beast and everyone wants him - and my design fucking rocks, even in it's current sad version).
