Context wise, this concept art depicts a scene where the bandits threaten to open fire if no one answers the radio in the house. Juno determines that a gunfight is inevitable, and so answers the radio to buy a few extra moments to prepare for the exchange. Naturally the bandits aren't happy to hear their friends are already dead. Juno offers to let them live if they walk away, an offer that they vehemently decline.
