Others are noisy beings. But to learn the important, to sift out the nuggets of gold, separate the wheat from the chaff... The virtue of patience has to be learned and used well.
Some feel uncomfortable when observed, pierced by the gaze that takes in a lot, yet says little. The silence weighs them down like a burden. Those who love the noise. The relief from thought.
Perhaps silence should be my very own choice more often... It sharpens my perception. A well thought-out answer often ends up better than an instinctive one.

ryuvhiel yet again did an outstanding job. For a speedpaint, all the details are magnificent. I love the pose, with the beard resting on the wrist and the captivating eye. An expression I find befitting of me quite often.
