Gorgon Modeling's Mannequin Generification Options
Rosaria works as a model for Gorgon Transformative Modelling, a modeling agency that specializes in contracting out models to be transformed into various forms according to their client's demands.
Their most well known and popular service is their Living Mannequins, where a clothing store will contract out a model from Gorgon to be dressed up in their featured fashion, turned into a mannequin, and displayed in-store for the contracted time.
Gorgon allows the client a heavy amount of specificity, not just in the model they send, but in the appearance of the finished mannequin. One of these options is the level of "generification", where the higher the level, the less recognizable the finished mannequin will be the original model.
Generification is offered in 5 levels, here demonstrated by Rosaria:
Option 0- No Transformation:
The model will not be transformed at all, remaining completely organic and recognizable. This option is only for traditional modelling gigs.
Option 1- Inanimification:
The model will be transformed into a plastic (or otherwise specified material) mannequin, rendering them inorganic and inanimate (Gorgon does offer mannequin packages that retain some model animacy for more dynamic displays). The resulting mannequin will still maintain as much of the colors and recognizable shapes of the original model as the requested material allows.
Option 2- Color Removal:
The resulting mannequin will loose all the model's original colors, leaving only the color of the requested material (i.e. a standard white plastic mannequin will be left a monotone white) while still maintaining recognizable shapes.
Option 3- Detail Smoothing:
The resulting mannequin will loose all recognizable colors and shapes, leaving them only a generic representation of the original model's species, gender and body type. This is most popular option among Gorgon's clients.
Option 4- Species Removal:
The resulting mannequin will loose all recognizable colors and shapes to the degree that even the original model's species will become indeterminate, leaving only a fully generic representation of their gender and body type.
