I’ve been holding this image in my head for a long time — a place where Viridi went to hide from the weight of her own heart.

The Red Pond is a vast crimson field, surrounded by cold, gray cliffs. Scarlet grass hugs the ground, moving in rhythm with a steady current that flows endlessly through the area. Scattered among the grass are glowing, smooth pools — almost perfectly shaped hollows filled with liquid that reflects and distorts the world around them.
