Indeed I remember I was already an adult first time I spotted a woody woodpecker, I went full mode "JUST LIKE THE CARTOON!". And this time we heard the call too, that even sounds like a laugh! I just wondered because the phrase ''alma de gato'' is spelled and means the same thing in Spanish as in Portuguese. There must be an interesting story to how the ''Cat's Soul'' got its name.
