The movement is absolutely rock solid. Jumping and stuff feels very good.
Combat is not so good. The enemy fires wayyyyy too many projectiles and immediately starts blocking when you do any attack but the charge attack. So you just get hit constantly while trying to charge up.
If I jump into the water the game bugs out and force refreshes or something, leaving a pure black screen and requiring a game restart.

Enemy balance is still experimental. I only have experience balancing RPG battles in RPG Maker, so platforming and action is entirely new. This will HAVE to be hammered out with testing and time. Everything is weak to something, and defensive as hell about it. It's a souls-like in some regards and ever encounter is dangerous and involves some thought.
and OF COURSE there is some kinda of game shattering bug involving water. <:(
That sounds like an individual thing though. Nobody has reported anything like that. The latest JDK applicable is like from 2013 so compatibility might be iffy. That's the kind of stuff I'm worried about because I am just scripting logic and the kit is handling the hard stuff, which I cannot change. I will take a look for any redundancy that might be conflictive on any process though. Maybe your system doesn't like some constantly switching boolean or something. Like I said, I'll do my best.
