Karamador: Tourney in Aborku, Page 122
Suomalaiset huom! Tämän sivun suomenkielinen versio löytyy täältä (the Finnish version of this page is here): https://mediasaunaraahe.wordpress.c.....iset-sivu-122/
The other members of the Elemental Council from the audience (most of whom we have seen in the audience since page 72 with Sir Kiljaos recognizing one of them to be a Councilor on page 73) come to check on the situation. Together with Doreador's Elemental Councilors in Princess Anima's entourage they examine the body of the spider assassin, wondering how he was able to shoot so much web. At the same time it turns out Ydia the goshawk bard just defended Zak the fox squire in hopes to teach him to be nicer. He didn't seem to learn the lesson though.
Cameo appearances / easter eggs:
The Elemental Councilors with the capybara knight accompanying them are all guest appearances:
The capybara knight is Sir Guillaume Mignot, an OC from SeanHawk23
seanhawk23 (who has also been big help with sharing and assisting with Karamador lore and story ideas and suggestions) [ https://www.deviantart.com/seanhawk23 ], based on Sean's IRL friend called "Yapper"/"Yappybara".
The grey dragon in black cape is Lord Storm, character of Stormy-the-drago4 https://www.deviantart.com/stormy-the-drago4
White caped lion is Bora, character of Derecho
Derecho https://www.deviantart.com/derecho
Dragon maiden with black hair and clothes is Olivia, character of CrazyGraeHawkatoo

Comments and faves are always appreciated! Things are hard for me right now and the progress on the comic slow due to it, so the next page will come 27th of May 2025, skipping next week so I can get more time to recover from the loss of my brother. 27th of May onward new pages continue coming every Tuesday as usual!

Beneath the Cape:
I greatly and truly appreciate to have been a part of this and that Kilju allowed this cameo in the first place.
As was stated in the description, Sir Guillaume Mignot is an OC that is based on my friend, who helps manage a server for a custom firmware of a signal analyzer device known as the Flipper Zero. Specifically, Yapper is a consigliere for the Momentum Firmware. The colors of Sir Guillaume's coat of arms and surcoat are directly lifted off the branding colors of the firmware.
The name also has very specific meaning. "Guillaume" is the French equivalent of "Willy" which references the major Momentum lead developer WillyJL, while "Mignot" is intended to enable the coat of arms of House Mignot to have the big "M" in the center, and is an oblique reference to Yapper's actual name.
What's also worth noting is that the light green cape is not a reference to the deviantART logo but comes from another technology called Meshtastic, which is an open source, off-grid, decentralized, mesh network built to run on affordable, low-power devices.
In the context of the comic itself, Sir Guillaume Mignot is a capybara knight who is visiting from Eranthia, though he has no intention of participating in the tourney and is simply a spectator, who also happens to be volunteering in mercenary/security work for some coin. Proficient with a sword, he also fancies himself as a musketeer, which is somewhat unusual and anachronistic for a knight-based setting (musketeers emerged after knights became obsolete in our world). He is not technically affiliated with the Council, but volunteered to assist and was allowed to accompany the Councilors.
Another detail worth noting: Stormy is not in fact an anhini but an Elemental Spirit in this universe. Each Council is comprised of 16 members, with a total of 64, each representing the pinnacle of their skillset for each Element for each region. 14 represent the various nations of Karamador, while the other two are Delegates on behalf of the Spirits and the Dragons respectively. Stormy is the Delegate who represents the Wind Spirits such as sylphs and their ilk.

Speaking as a man married to a woman who studies these creatures. I can attest to this. If the creature secreted venom, and was of the arboreal type. That means their webs have to be strong, in order to keep food from fleeing.
If exposed to multiple venoms types while in egg, that doesn't cause it to die, the creature that hatches will have a more potent venom and their webbing will take on the characteristics of the arachnid it came from. Stronger webbing, slightly weaker venom. As their victims are bound.
Were one to breed an ambush hunter's venom instead. Their webbing would be weak but, their strength, and venom far stronger.

That is a very intriguing analysis and honestly gives rise to quite a few ideas. Without spoiling too much, just as there are good bugs like Xekra, there are good spiders too, and I can sort of see this kind of thing being enforced via a caste system. So like textile worker castes would be bred in such a way to make stronger webs, while hunter castes would be bred with the ambush hunter venom
