Update!: The leaf pattern on the arms should match the leaf pattern on the thighs, I just haven't have the chance to update it yet!
FINALLY I finished this thing. I started it a long time ago but never really did much with it because I planned to make my own art, and now that I have a little more experience, I updated and finished it for the most part. Breeze is a green fox with leafy patterns on their upper arms, upper thighs, and tail. They sort of have a nature vibe! And they love drinking tea. On their abdomen, middle neck, and lower face, they have an off-white secondary coloring, as foxes do. I may add an extra detail or two in the top-right of the ref sheet since it feels a little empty.
So if I plan to make my own art, then why have a ref sheet? Well, I guess the answer is: just to have one. I mean, there are plenty of artists out there way above my skill level, and whose art I really enjoy, so maybe if I do have some spare money some day, I'll commission them. Or I mean, if I do trade art or a friend wants to draw my sona, there is that too for them. The proportions are just a sort of loose guide; the way I'd actually draw Breeze will look a lot better in the future, I just need to get better.
Oh, and perhaps the most pertinent question is, why have both male and female forms? Well if it wasn't obvious from the tags, my primary interest is gender bending. I used to like it in other characters, but somewhere along the line I really liked gender bending my own sona instead. I always struggle to decide whether to do art as my default male sona, or as my female sona lol.
In RPs or sometimes even games (Rimworld), I like to put Breeze in a situation where someone or something transforms them, and they have to basically just "deal with it" and adjust to suddenly having an attractive body of the opposite gender. Besides it sorta being mainly a kink, it really does add unique things to a story. I mean, Sci-Fi is my worst genre, but even that gets livened up with the curveball of a transformation lol. Breeze always keeps their male mind, and while they naturally think the new pov is hot, reality will sometimes crash into them like a wave and make them remember that they can't seem to change back. Even though they were a guy, they'll also still try to dress appropriately, and maybe begrudgingly wear a bra, if for nothing else than to not be revealing in their typical male clothes.
If you want to include my sona in any piece of art, you may, just don't forget to credit me. I am also open to doing art trades! I am continually getting better and better and look forward to making wonderful stuff!
