Yeah, uh, sorry for the scary title jump scare, y'all. This one sorta just... fell out of me? I had some kind of little splinter that was festering I needed to pop out, apparently. The piece became about my PMDD, which was especially challenging this last couple cycles. It does feel a bit like a specter that comes to visit once a month with the express intent to be cruel. I'm working through it and learning how to live with it as well as starting the slow process of seeking medical assistance, so it's alright, but sometimes a really good visual allegory hits you and you gotta paint it.
