As I commented on the other comic hosting, I do feel I pull towards these types of stories. I know it's literary junk food... but I like junk food. Who doesn't like junk food? They keep making it because people like it, not because trash sells without merit.
Mind you, that entire response is very food obsessed since my favorite type of the cozy "eating/cooking in another world" sub variant.
Also, as I stated over there, Truck-Kun must be feeling the pressure from "worked to death in a black company" iskie origins if it's branching out to run into abstract ideas.

I never did get into the "Overly Long and Highly Specific" titles. But I did kinda end up doing what kind of is an isekai with "Princess Tells Her Story". And a double reverse isekai with "Exodimensional Hoofbun Flopsy". They're both in the same setting, where Earth has a parallel world that started off (and mostly still is) your bog-standard Medieval England Fantasy World, but the two have massive "Chaos Storms" once every thousand-ish years to tear things up, and occasionally cause people/things to "cross over" from one world to the other.
And they started off as daydreams of "I wanna be a pet dragon" and "I wanna be a hoofbun with super strength". (The "I wanna be a yinglet" daydream didn't lead to an isekai story, "Modern Major Yinglet" is set on magicless regular Earth.) ^_^;;
For stuff that isn't my own work, I really enjoyed "Uncle From Another World" / "Isekai Ojisan". Guy who was hit by a truck and isekai'd at 17 suddenly wakes up from his coma 17 years later, so he's 34 now. And he knows actual magic. So he lives with his nephew, and they post videos of him showing off magic or items on YouTube. This lets him fund his habit of being a massive Sega fanboy. (One of the first things he asks on waking up is "How is Sega doing in the console wars?" When told they stopped making consoles, he immediately obliterates the memory with magic, which he explains he does any time something is too awful to bear. The nephew reading the notebook gets so overwhelmed with the horror begs for his memory to be erased too.)
