Brief thought; werewolves are presumably predators, so I figure that even though the spiffy, shiny jewelry looks cool, it's noisy and easy to spot. So I figure that's basically ritual attire and that a werewolf hunting, or fighting for the earth mother, or whatever, might wear some sort of leather cords as an indication of rank -- the knots identifying a pack member's status or society affiliation.

I wear a collar with multiple tags. This creates a jingle noise. Wearing it day in and day out has taught me how to move in a way that silences the tags,.. or uses them to announce my presence with. This leads me to believe that some noisy jewelery might not necessarily be a burden for a pack hunter.
