If I could travel in time to watch a race live, which one would it be?
There's a very good chance it would be a race from the 90s, but other than that, the 1953 French GP - The Race of the Century - springs to mind. A legendary battle between Hawthorn and Fangio 🔥
A Ferrari 500 and a Maserati A6GCM battling during 500km at Reims-Gueux. The top 4 cars finished within 5 seconds of the leader - no yellows or SCs. Hawthorn, Fangio, González, Ascari and Farina in the top 5. LEGENDARY.

Epic Raf, just epic!
In my case it would be something way less glamorous... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI8litf5a2s
It makes my inner opel nerd happy. XD

In my case, races i’d love to watch among the past ones are 1985. Monte Carlo in which Ari Vatanen pulled off amazing win against Walter Rohrl and 1993. Donnington GP just for that first lap of Senna demonstrating his brilliance in the wet and also his win on Interlagos in 1991. with gearbox stuck in sixth gear.Would also love to see one of the supertouring races throughout the 1990s as well and hillclimbs from that period.
Super cool art! I love how well you captured an old monochrome photograph from the '50s.
I'd love to have been there for the 1966 24 Hours at Le Mans, myself.
A truly historic race, especially for an American like myself. '60s racecars have an aesthetic and beauty that few modern racecars have even come close to capturing. IMO, 90s GT1 racecars come close in terms of performance and looks.
Another neat motorsports event I'd love to have been present for, which I actually could have seen broadcast live as a child, was the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship. Seeing one of my favorite modern cars of all time, the Maserati MC12, absolutely dominating on track in person, in its prime, would've been amazing. Not only does the MC12 look good, it sounds divine. Italian V12s are a drug, and the M144a and M144b are no exceptions, despite being a Ferrari F140 engine with Maserati branding.
