That battle with the Skull Cultists... well, thank the gods I got in my 'practice' with the rigging, because it was a nasty fight even with most of their sloops sunk. The captain was knocked off the ship - right towards the hungry sharks that had been following our battle.

Thank the gods, indeed. That's when I became more than a reckless fool to her, and she became more than our nervous captain to me...

Following some minor work, we followed a lead at the behest of our fungal employer Lady Chanterelle and found ourselves chased by the Skull Cult, the berserker followers of the mysterious Pirate Lord Razormaw, who we'd briefly clashed with at Reefshore before being driven back.

Chanterelle's daughter had been taken by the Pirate Lords in the raid - and although she would do anything to see her safely liberated, fate would take a dark turn when we arrived at her behest on the colony of Rockspire soon after this chase: there simply to help save a friend of hers with valuable information from the gallows by clearing his name in the hunt for a serial killer. Where this quest would lead - and what would happen to our still-growing party - would shock us all.
