Hey, cute little guys. You should be aware, however, that chocolate is not something you want to give to your pets. It contains theobromine, which is toxic to many animals, including rodents. (Carob chips make a great treat in place of chocolate, as do yogurt drops.)

Oh, sorry, guess I should have made it clear. It isn't real chocolate. It's those little 'chocolate' gerbils treats you buy, you know, the one's that smell nice but taste vile?

[I didn't eat them, but one of my friends did]

I never tried any of those fake rodenty chocolate treats, but I did nibble on a milk bone when I was a little kid. Bleah.
