[2] The new Beginning
Zephyr, one known as the guardian of Chaos' creation, one of the three siblings that were not born, but created at the beginning of the world.
She who was fighting for the survival of not only dragons, but any species survival... only to be betrayed and killed by her sister.
That was ages ago and since then there's been numerous incarnations of her.
In each she tried to mend what was once broken, to repair the trust between humans and dragons.
Yet in each life she eventually failed, being betrayed or sacrificed herself for the greater good.
Sometimes being born as a majestic dragon, other times as a beautiful dragoness, but always as a snowdragon.
Till... something happened. Something changed.
Snowdragons almost completely went extinct during the wild magic that consumed the land of ice.
This egg may as well be one of the lasts. And something felt off about it.
It was not that this egg wasn't of pure snowdragon origin, but something else feeling... broken.
Yet the white dragoness, who it was given to, accepted her duty and guarded over it dutifully.
Protecting it, knowing that it'll be the next Zephyr and in her heart she was sure, this one will make it.
It has been many decades since the last one, a male, left this city he founded to stand against the bloodmages.
In a single night, he finished the war against the bloodmages... and whiped their entire city away in a storm of a size never seen before.
The white dragoness ears perked up as she sensed something as she was laying curled around this egg.
She almost missed it in her focused state, but she felt a movement coming from the egg.
Sending out her mind she felt a soft response from a dragoness, she smiled... and then gave a surprised sound.
There was a second response, fragile and quiet she barely missed it.
This was new... there never been multiple.
How could this influence the future?
How will the humans and other dragons react?
Should she... only let one survive?
She looking down at the egg and noticed how the female hatchlings mind envelopped the males, as if instinctively wanting to protect.
The white dragoness smiled motherly down at the almost white egg and cast her worry aside.
Even if she wanted to, she couldn't... She was asked to protect them and somehow already felt connected to them.
These were her hatchlings, even if she didn't lay the egg.
And something inside her told her, that she'll protect them with her life.
A thought she shared many months later as she tended to these twins.
She'll raise them and keep them safe.
It doesn't matter to her that they don't remember their past lives.
Nor does it matter that the magical abilities seem weaker than they should be.
She knows, this is the way fate will want it.
A scene to the twins as hatchlings in my story :3
The white dragon is a dragon with a name lost in time from my story
The little dragons are me any my twin

And if you noticed the trend, they get further and further into the past so far, with the exceptions of the last two
