Was Ren a plain old human first, then bio-modified into a fox? Or was she fox first?

I noticed a few spelling mistakes:
* under permamods: —> ‘unknown’ x2
* under arms: —> ‘functional’
* under combat profile -> arms: —> ‘proficient’ (double check next line too: ‘proficiencies’)
* quirks: “smells faintly ‘of’ flowers”
* sportswear: —> ‘comfortable’
* clothes: “most of her clothes ‘are’ custom-made”

I love the detail and what I’ve learned about your character from reading her ref sheet! I do notice that she has ‘charismatic’ and ‘highly social’ listed - it made me think about if those standard military grade ‘multispectral cranial sensor orbs’ (eyes) would be enabled by default with ‘iris simulation’ so they felt more ’human’ ‘organic’ for others reading her body language, and how I could imagine she’d have to insist on such a thing for her implants.

And if all that multispectral stuff is controllable, I’d imagine she could suppress body language tells as well, at least in her eyes so she would be harder to interrogate under duress. Don’t play poker with her!

So, in the world she lives in (technically our world, just a century later) everyone is human, but can modify their body mostly to their liking, so she looked like a human before mods.

And yes, the cyber eyes has "iris simulation" and same with the pupil, they mostly look human even if the refsheet show something quite cybernetic or inhuman, it's mostly the style there.
Furthermore, as it is cybernetics, yes, you can act on it to suppress automated functions.
Cybernetics are (again, in this universe) a life-like replacements, made to look very natural on the surface. The black sclera here is mostly for style, because she likes it.
