Story time~
Xion has known Luc the Cat for quite some time. Ever since the Vulpemon (it’s a type of fox Digimon) and the mischievous cat meet, they form a very close and fun friendship. Even if their lifestyles are very different: Xion living on his own farm and Luc living in the city. The two of them found their ways to have fun and hang out. However, with time being, the two also starting to form a little rivalry… a ticklish rivalry, if you may.
Ever since Xion showed Luc his special feather collection he started to find a liking to tickle the cat, after that, both started to form some sort of tradition that consisted on finding ways to tickle one another. Their usual tickle fights would do nothing but keep increasing in level. Luc only wanted to break things even with Xion. However, his foxy friend didn’t like to feel like things were equal between them. He likes to have the upper hand. He likes to win. However, all his attempts to win against the cat proved to be worthless as Luc eventually would have his revenge. If he wanted to win, Xion needed to do something different. Something more drastic to destroy his friend’s ticklish nerves.
What’s the plan? Find Luc’s most sensitive spot and tickle it as much as possible. That’s something Xion wasn’t entirely sure how to tackle. Not because Luc was ticklish only in some specific areas, but because he was ticklish almost everywhere. So, finding his weakest point wasn’t an easy task. After all, there were just so many places Xion could tickle at once and, even if his feather collection was almost endless, they weren’t as effective with the cat as he’d like them to be. If he wanted to make his friend truly laugh, he had to use harsher tickles.
After brainstorming ideas to get his plan going Xion eventually got a little revelation: “Who knows better a cat than another cat?”. Another thing you might want to know about Xion is that he likes another type of Digimon. More specifically, he likes the Gatomon type. He has built himself a reputation for tormenting and tickling them. So, he knows them, he knows where they are, and he knows how to convince them to help him to complete his plan.
After finding a group of Gatomon, the Vulpemon talked to them about his little plan and, after some persuasion, he convinced them to help him. What do they have to do? Ambush Luc, tie him up, tickle him all over, check which place makes him tick the most. Simple, easy, effective. After they all agreed on how to set things in motion, Xion put his plan into action.
He just invited Luc to visit him at his farm. To do so he just offered him a nice meal, something effective to make the cat go anywhere. However, little did the cat know that, as soon as he arrived at Xion’s farm, a group of Gatomon ambushed him, took his shirt and sandals off; and tied him up in a fence. Once he was nice and secure, Xion went by to greet his guest.
- Xion… what’s the meaning of this? – Luc asked as he struggled, wiggling his arms, and legs, trying to wiggle his way out of his situation.
- Oh, this is just a little experiment I and my Gatomon friends wanted to try on you. We want to know where you are most ticklish~. – Xion answered grinning widely as he was carrying a box with his feather collection. Completely unaware that, behind him, the Gatomon were planning something on their own.
Before the fox could react, they pounced over him, took his shirt off as well and tied him up in the fence, right next to Luc. Xion struggled and fought with all his might. However, he couldn’t do anything against his captors. He felt the weight of the world falling on him as he saw one Gatomon opening his box exposing a lot of different feathers.
- Wait! Don’t do thi… - His plea was cut short by a jolt of wild laughter as one Gatomon started to tickle his left paw with a feather, going slowly up and down.
Luc didn’t have much time to process what was happening as another Gatomon started to scribble her fingers all over his left paw. Making him laugh loudly and wiggle his toes desperately, trying to cover his ticklish sole.
The two Gatomon grinned at each other as they decided to intensify the tickles for the two guys. Using their tails to tickle the right paw of the fox and the cat. Xion could barely hold himself on as he tried to pull his paws away from the torment. Luc, on his side, was feeling it much worse. It was clear his paws were his most ticklish area since, any time the Gatomon got near them, the cat would answer by screaming in laughter.
- Xion… what did you do?! – Luc barely managed to ask his friend.
- It wasn’t supposed to go this way! – Xion answered between his laughter, still trying to process everything that had just happened.
- Take it as revenge for all the tickles you’ve given us~ - the Gatomon who was tickling Xion answered. Making the fox blush as he realized how much trouble he was in.
The Gatomon were going all out by tickling the Vulpemon and the Cat. Starting on their paws, making the two boys unaware that there were more Gatomon about to attack their upper bodies. The second they touched their armpits Xion lost it. His torso was more ticklish than his paws. His wild laughter became stronger and stronger by the minute as the Gatomon kept on tickling his torso. Going from his armpits to his sides, to his belly. And once one of them slides a feather right on his navel Xion screamed and laughed harder than he had ever done before.
“Wait! Not there! Please! I’m Sorry!” were just some of the things Xion managed to say as he was getting tickled out of his mind.
- His weakest spot is his navel! – A Gatomon cheered.
- So cute~ - Another one stated, making Xion blush even more.
Luc wasn’t having it easier though.
- His spots are his paws~. – The Gatomon in charge of tickling the cat’s paws cheered, keeping his ticklish assault on them.
Even though his paws are his most ticklish spot, the torso tickling was an intense extra that only made him scream even more and keep him over the edge. The poor cat was laughing, screaming, pleading the Gatomon to make it stop. What seemed like days passed until the Gatomon behind Luc whispered to his ear:
- I’ll give you a break if you say you are cute~.
That only made Luc shake his head from side to side. If there was something he just couldn’t bring himself to do, it was accepting how cute he is. Unfortunately for him, the tickles were too many and his will was running short. After a little while the poor cat screamed “I’m cute!”. Just like that the Gatomon tickling him stopped and untied him. Making the cat fall on the ground. Completely exhausted and still laughing.
It took a bit longer for the Gatomon to free Xion as well. As soon as they did the fox fell right next to Luc, still laughing, still blushing, still smiling. The two friends laid there for a long time to catch their breath and recover some energies. Enough for the Gatomon to make their escape before any of them thought about revenge. The two of them sit next to the other, panting.
- Call me crazy… - Xion says breathing heavily as he was still smiling and a small blush formed in his face – But getting tickled by all those ladies wasn’t… that bad.
Luc didn’t say anything, but right after that he pounced on top of Xion and started to tickle his friend’s armpits with his claws, paws with his tail and, to make things even worse for Xion, blow some raspberries on the fox’s navel. Xion couldn’t even start shaking the cat off as he started to laugh loudly. Too tired to escape and too distracted by the tickles to defend himself. He knew he was going to be there for a long time, and it was by his own doing.
On his side, Luc was having a lot of fun. Not every day he can tickle his friend like that and now he knows exactly where to tickle to make him scream. However, there is a thought in the back of his mind he can’t shake off and that he tries to ignore. After this is all over, Xion will try to have his revenge. And he knows the Vulpemon. He won’t do it to break even. Whatever Xion will do next it will be bad… and will tickle a lot.

Alright, something I do whenever I have an art block is to remake old pics. It’s refreshing and kind of interesting to see how much someone’s style has evolved over the years. Usually those remakes remain private and/or deleted since they are just an exercise to help the creativity flow once more. However, this time around, I finished the pic, since  BrawlKoopa liked it a lot and inspired me want to finish and share it ^^.
It's really interesting how much my art style has evolved, even though the original is just 2 years old.
