SILENT FOREST
…It was the sound of coastal waves — a sound the wyvern had never heard before in his life. Masses of water rose confidently and, approaching the shore, crashed down with a roar, spreading across the water’s surface and leaving behind a long trail of hissing foam. Altumar realized: he was closer to land than ever before.
Alti froze and began to peer into the azure depths ahead. Beyond the silhouettes of small rocks overgrown with wild vegetation, he noticed glimmers of sunlight playfully shimmering on the surface. These reflections completely captured the wyvern’s attention, forming unseen patterns — they seemed both familiar and utterly alien. And then what?..
I can’t believe this is the final piece for the challenge. I’ll have much more to say later, but for now… a little break? (Well, not really — there’s still the Google forms, and the summary ahead!)
