Born within the poverty stricken underalleys of Strigos, Sirbus was raised by his only mother, aimlessly wandering from alleyway to alleyway, scavenging for scraps. After only three years since his birth, Sirbus and his mother were approached by members of the Cerberus Society, a syndicate of assassins who deal in the dark arts and worship the demonic three headed hellhound Cerberus. Despite her pleas, Sirbus’ mother was mercilessly executed, leaving the infant at the mercy of the society.

Like many others before him, the young wolf suffered brutal training, forcefully succumbing to the dark arts by his "teachers", his arm and face left disfigured and mutated. Yet against all odds, Sirbus managed to survive his trials and become a fully fledged assassin for the society.

For over two decades of killings and assassinations, all in the name of the Society, he was granted the demonic blade, Shukketsu-ko (Bleeding Steel), a powerful weapon that has been passed down to the Cerberus Society's greatest warriors for generations.

However, his life would reach a turning point, when he would cross paths with Ignis Draco.

The two encountered one another as they both pursued the same target, where, much to Sirbus’ surprise, Ignis would challenge him in a duel with only their blades. Though equally matched, Ignis would ultimately best the assassin, but instead of finishing him off, the young dragon mercenary offered Sirbus to join him. When asked why, Ignis simply responded with another question:

“It’s better to be free than being a tool, right?”

Before Sirbus could answer, Ignis was ambushed by members of the Society, leaving him open for Sirbus to lay the finishing blow, but he hesitated, Ignis’ words replaying within his head. He recalled the years of pain and suffering he had to endure. The loss of his mother, the life he could have had, all snuffed away by the Society. With that, he took his blade, and slew his fellow assassins.

Now marked a traitor to the Society, and with no other place to go, the assassin accepted his newfound position as a member of APEX, finally free from those who tormented and corrupted him.

Sirbus now awaits for the very day he will put an end to the Cerberus Society, once and for all.

Gawd damn, this took way too long.

I actually started this by the end of March, I managed to do the character sheet and expressions, but by the time April started, I had to shelve this until I finished commissions for the month. But now that that's been taken care of, I was finally able to finish off ol' Sirbus here.
