A relatively younger character of mine, created about four years ago or so named 'Lears Nacht'. Basically, Lears is a vampire that has come to hate himself for both merely being and blithely enjoying being what he is. In his disdain of both himself and his kind, he comes to seek shelter under the wing of faith in an effort to recapture the essence of his "soul", or rather, the essense of his humanity.

I wanted to depict the character as I personally see him. In his detest of himself he finds a bit more of himself and through simply striving in any abstract way to recapture his lost humanity, he has obtained a beauty that surpasses it. The tattered coat he usually wears is shredded and forming the facade of angel wings. Through them I try to showcase this personal opinion and belief.
