Valentine with a school of Peeping Nimus Fish! Yes, there are fish in Cendrillion that "swim" through the air!
Its always been a little dream of mine to stand next to fish that swim through the air! So yes, it exists in Cendrillion! Their little bellies are full of a biochemical compound similar to helium. They feed on the spores of giant mushrooms! They earned the nickname "peeping" because they like to look into windows lol.
This one is a little tricky but I'm loving it! My partner helped me with the background with a reference.

Ilove the concept of the flying fish, and the reasonable way that they could actualy 'fly' in the air. They're really cute, too!!! They kinda remind me of Black Moors, so I'm even more biased, because I think those are just suuuuper adorable fish <3
The background work looks great, too!! I really like how lovely and bright it is outside, contrasting really well with the dark shadows, and UNNNF, that backlighting looks great as well. Really makes the detail on his fur and muscles stand out. Also, uh, I know this is probably really random, but I also like how well you rendered the details on his pants??? The extra attention to detail that you put into this is awesome~
Gosh, Im kinda jealous of where he's at; I with I could be here, it looks so peaceful and scenic, like all you could probably here is a nice rustle of the trees in the wind, maybe some birdsong and the occassional grasshoppers singing, ahh ;u;
