I wanted a dragon form for one of my characters. it was an interesting project, might have made it a little too dark though. Also realised that when you make a dragon covered in feathers and give them a bird face you end up more with a griffon so when I draw this concept again I’ll need to make his head more distinctly draconic. I’ve seen the concept done well in other artists work so I know it can be done, just need to be patient and keep improving.
