Had a goofy little idea and liked the concept of trying to deal with my burnout by and did a rough sketch which I just kept going further on until I have this. As you can guess from the title I made a little robotic fox thing. Part of it was a notion that since everything had to be very strongly defined it might help me with anatomy stuff and getting a feel for how body parts should be. But the problem is we're taking someone who kind of sucks at anatomy and telling them to now think of them as metal flat surfaces when I absolutely hate the shape theory thingy. And as you can guess I found a new toy for smudging when I was doing the tail. I think it looks neat but doesn't entirely match the rest of the image.

I like how the eyes turned out and the ears and to some effect how the heart core ended up. A lot of the rest was just poor planning on my part and going with whatever. Like i had to change one panel on each leg because the sigil on the back leg wasn't visible enough with the cream colored panel. And I still need work getting very floofy tails. And my standard trying to do non-crappy backgrounds. Also ended up with a slightly different expression than I was originally intending.
