About a week ago, I learned of the passing of an old friend, Mason Mouse. We knew each other since 2009 or so, from back when I used to do a lot of chatroom and MUCK interaction.
In the last few years we've sort of drifted as our values slowly fell out of alignment, but I held onto the memories and art we've shared with each other.
Going through some pictures, I found one that stuck out. It was Mason flying high with wings, inspired by a Bible verse, Psalm 55:6. Well, today I got the inspiration to redraw that piece, albeit with one addition...
