In the canyons of the east where the grass is gold as the sun, a mentor awaits. One who has hidden away as many scars as there are stripes on his body, and bears a chest of metal. He awaits those who hold the stars in their hands, or place their soul amongst their bowstring. Unwelcome guests meet his fury with a brilliant arrow flying through them.
Hiding nor disguise blocks his eyes, light reveals all even in the deepest darkness.
Unfortunate for the thief that dare steal of his treasures. As they will be struck down with a screaming star launched from a string. Am insect like wyrm, who’s curiosity & dark obsession called them to a tome of psche. Originally thought to be a book of unorthodox medicine, to help with the disciple it holds darker secrets. The thief has already begun to attune to its whispers, though its power remains mostly sealed.
Neither the mentor nor the disciple is certain that thief came for the book alone. Although the disciple is irritated that the visit happens at an inopportune time. Having partially changed into a differing attire. At least the matter is less concerning than the other voices creeping in when the sun descends.
