This took forever to illustrate, especially considering I am not fond of drawing architecture. This is a gouache illustration that I finished last night after seeing the teaser trailer for “Zootopia 2”. The scene itself I decided to illustrate features Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, now the adoptive guardians of a 5-year-old polar bear cub named Morris. Morris has scooped Nick up and is now carrying his “uncle” on his back.

Nick Wilde: “You know, it’s the grown ups’s job to give piggyback rides.”

I’m cautiously optimistic about the upcoming movie, especially since the original “Zootopia” movie back in 2016 is one of my favourite films, and easily one of my favourite movies by Disney, and one of my biggest influences in how I design and illustrate animal characters.
