I like the "ruggedness". Some people never think twice about the difficulties a furry animal might have with clothes or how uncomfortable they'd actually be. I think this is a great depiction of what a clothed furry critter (and his clothes) would actually look like: not necessary sleek and stylish, but loose, worn and comfortable.
