They wanted a Sumo Primarina, slightly patterned after Tropica the Chieftainess Tsareena. Only with Sharpedo markings.

Just in time for Mer-May. (something I didn't exactly pay attention to. Oops)



Meet Oceania, the Savage Sumo Primarina.

Bio:

Oceania didn’t start off as a big and tough champion of sumo. Once she was young and small, before she was even born, her egg got swept away in a tide and isolated from her family. When she hatched, she was alone on an isle with little food. Thus she took to the water to survive, scrapping with whatever weak Pokémon she could, using loud voice to disorient them.



She remained on her own until one she stumbled across a group of Carvanha being roughed up by some poachers. Assuming this is an opportunity to get whatever food and supplies the poachers had, she used her voice again to drive them off. But to her surprise, the Carvanha were quite thankful for her help, and offered to take her back to their tribe. She agreed, mainly cause it meant protection and free food.



After awhile, her and her Carvanha friends evolved, and she helped the Sharpedo tribe how she could on hunting trips, or even using her voice for entertainment. That changed though when one day she looked over at Melemele Island, and was able to witness a tense Pokémon sumo match between the reigning Yokozuna and an up and coming challenger. It interested her a lot, before now she was never very physically strong, relying on her speed, voice and Sharpedo friends to help her out. But if she were to be as big as that? She could very much hold her own.

And so, she set about on the path of sumo. She studied the form, attire, diets of a few wrestlers. She fashioned herself a mawashi from kelp (and maybe the occasional Dhelmise, hard to say), and decorated it with some spare chipped teeth from her friends, who were more than willing to help out their adoptive sister. Oceania even adopted the markings of a Sharpedo, a Mega Sharpedo specifically to signify her power, and possible intimidation.

She practiced the form and routine as best she could. And of course, she worked out and ate *a lot*, growing huge with both blubber and muscle.

After getting big enough, she officially entered a sumo tournament on behalf of the Sharpedo tribe, and won it soundly. Giving her fame and wealth, though now also rivals who’d like to bring her down or take her place. Fortunately she’s a tough gal, and anyone who tried will learn why you don’t mess with her. Although, a certain Tsareena chieftainess isn't backing down from a challenge with her anytime soon.
