Just some worldbuilding for my story setting.
Part of the culture in Arcandria is looking at the world as an egg or a cocoon containing the essence of the earth and all the life on it. You can never tell if the thing inside it is alive, diseased, dead or if there’s even anything in the egg at all. You will have to nurture it until it hatches to find the answer, because if one breaks the egg whatever is inside would be doomed in any case.
In art this concept is often conveyed as a the life cycle of the original cattle (Voj) and deer (Kaffah) as these species were the keystone for the development of Arcandrian society.

So I actually have a not-insignificant phobia of eggs IRL...
...But I am totally overlooking that this time because this piece is absolutely beautiful, and the unique perspective of this culture is very intriguing also. Since eggs are already pretty steeped in symbolism in our world, I'd wager yours takes it to a whole other level.
