*Laughs* I done the same... I just played it again recently and Toy town was the damn last thing to do. I'd gotten this kickass MetalMamemon then.... I had to just wait for my digimon to digivolve without training it at all... it was long and painful but... Heh, I'd never done toy town before, so it was definetly worth it :P
