Getting ready to draw pride month art.
It hits me how hard this administration has been on our LGBTQIA+ community ! ( especially or trans friends and people who rely on dei hiring )
At first, I just wanted to draw fun stuff .
Listening to the news while I draw cute diaper art made my heart sink.
It’s important for pride to be a celebration!
It’s a bold declaration.
I am here.
I am who I am and I will stand with others like me.
I have never been scared to post pride art before this year.
That makes it important !

I started work on this picture.
At first I wasn’t gonna put the words in.
I was scared people would be like; I’m only here for diaper stuff or keep your politics out of my porn.
But then I remembered the long line of artists that came before .
That used their art to fight for what they believe in!
I want to encourage everyone to find a way that they can help this year.
Of course there’s fantastic places you can donate if you can afford that like the Trevor project.
Maybe all you can afford is texting your friend.
Making sure that they’re OK through all this horrible year.
We have the power to make a difference.
