Giant Gourami (Fish TF) by Anonymous Strawpage User!
It's Day 23 of TransforMAYtion, and the theme is Puddle!
An anonymous Strawpage artist strikes again, turning me into a white-scaled species of fish that... I don't think I've heard of before! Apparently I'm giant, though, which means I'll need a lot more than a puddle to comfortably swim and breathe in this body...!
Whoever drew this, thanks a ton! Very happy to be fish <333

Giant Gourami are a kind of anabantiform fish. If you're familiar with Bettas, they're in the same family. These fish grow to 24 inches long and generally are white or pale pink in color, though some exhibit gray speckled coloration. They're honestly more common in the aquarium trade than they really should be, as they need tanks of over 200 gallons. They're also capable of breathing air via a labyrinth organ (something shared between Gourami, Bettas, Paradise Fish, Climbing Perch and Snakeheads), although this is supplementary to their gills.
